Orderly bastion of law and might occupying a portion of the western Ainuin cavern edge.
The undernation of Kyrelous is a centaur nation which has survived primarily due to its laws, order, and the strength of arms of its denizens, who have largely given up the nomadic and wilderness lifestyles of their surface kin, instead primarily relying on agriculture and husbandry to provide their means of survival, though the nation does hunt the surrounding wilderness - both to patrol and for supplemental sources of food. Their ability to grow crops underground stems primarily from the series of mostly intact fallen stars in their territory, each of which provides sufficient light and warmth for plant growth in a moderate radius - albeit during what would be nighttime on the surface.
Having fortified the positions surrounding these fallen stars toward the sloped edges of Ainuin's walls, and somewhat being protected by their vicinity during the cavern "days" by the bright light they shed deterring most of the more horrid creatures of the depths, Kyrelous is remarkably prosperous and secure for one of the underworld realms. Unfortunately, due to the events during and after the Calamity, the nation is almost solely comprised of centaurs, who view most outsiders with distrust - travelers are either escorted through their territory, if they have pressing business within, or instructed to follow the roads skirting the fortified edges of their domain. These roads are well-patrolled and quite safe in comparison to the surrounding lands.
