Citizen of Tanol

A simple piece of artisan crafted pewter, a downward crescent over a sphere, the crest of the Tanol Confederacy, and beneath those the crest of the city that issued the citizenship as agreed upon by the Council of the Cities. Three swords for Spira, the city of blades, a staff and rays of light for Ætherin, the city of mages, _________ for Charrith, the City of Colors, and so on. This is what forms the Crest of Citizenry for the Tanol Confederacy.

Each Crest identifies the holder as a citizen of the Confederacy as well as a citizen of the issuing city, and do not require a holder to actually live in the city. It is not uncommon for a well travelled individual to obtain one or more Crests of Citizenry in their life time.
