Personality
"My name's Isabelle, uh-huh. But everyone calls me Izzy. Except Momma. And Doctor Sanchez. And the helpers. And Maya sometimes. But Chel calls me Izzy and so do all the other knights. Except Dame Anchor. But she's nice and I like her. Are they your friends, Mister Heavy?"
Mister Heavy shook his head. "They are my family, yes. You may think of them as my cousins."
"Oh, I see. That makes sense," Izzy said, fiddling with her torn pocket. "I'm not supposed to assume nothing. Momma says it's no good, but I'm not sure why. I think it's a'cause we shouldn't think we know everything. Especially since most people don't know nothing. Chel always tells me, she does. Says to me 'Izzy, you don't know nothing about nothing' uh-huh," Izzy said, doing her best impression of her sister's growling voice.
Izzy was a simple child, content to follow her sisters on whatever adventures they embarked upon. Whether it was (unknowingly) conning money from Yilva's residents or building a flying machine just to see if they could, Izzy was happy merely to be included. This didn't mean she lacked personal interests and hobbies, as she loved singing, animals, and drawing.
At ten years old, Izzy's dream was to become the owner of not only a dog, but one who knew how to ride a small board with wheels like the one she'd seen during a fateful trip to the city below; that, or "the lady who says what trains are a'coming and a'going at the station." Suffice to say, the inner machinations of her mind remained an enigma to the average person.
"[Izzy]? She's dumb as a box of rocks!"

History & Notable Relationships
Although short, Izzy's life at a decade old was filled with much activity. Being raised during the 1860s and an adult during the 1880s would have one witness some of the most astounding events in Ikwento's history.
Early Life
Prior to the birth of Izzy, Chel, and Maya, their mother Suitalk would suffer years of melancholy following
her last child's departure. This was uncharacteristic of the All-Mother who had previously accepted her childrens' inability to stay with her, believing she'd prepared each of them as best she could for life below the High Wall. At some point during this depression, Suitalk would find a mysterious egg-like object elaborately fashioned of brass and adorned by various names, left within her estate. Unsure of what else to do, the All-Mother took it to bathe, cleaning it until noticing a distinct click. The top of the egg split apart to reveal a sleeping creature which looked like a cross between a baby and an octopus. Turning to reach for a basin so as to carry her new arrival, Suitalk was greeted by two more infants, the girls clutching one-another in their sleep.
"Mine Chichi, she claims falsehood to this tale, but I still have that egg. It sits atop the mantle."
— Suitalk
Much of Izzy's early childhood consisted of time spent with her sisters and their mother. As they grew older, visits from their pediatrician and extended family such as
Princess Telili helped to acclimate them for their eventual trips to the High Wall outside of Suitalk's estate. This in turn would eventually lead to trips to the city below, albeit with close supervision by members of either the church or government. Whether or not they realized it, Izzy, Chel, and Maya were never truly beyond the notice of the powers which protected them.
Almost Like Love
The year of 1865 brought change to Izzy's life. One day, out of the blue, a man by the name of
High Voltage Varrick appeared in front of her mother. A single gunshot brought the whole world to a halt, as Izzy witnessed the outlaw's first attempted murder of Suitalk. Though her mother would ultimately prove unharmed, nearly killing the outlaw then and there, the experience would shake Izzy and her understanding of the world. And yet, despite having every reason to think otherwise, Izzy chose to believe Varrick was by no means the norm for people beyond the High Wall.
Izzy would play a small role during the events of "Almost Like Love," introducing the steel man
Heavy to her mother.
Notable Relationships
Suitalk: The All-Mother considered Isabelle her most-intelligent child for whom the outside world would prove no trouble. Often, Suitalk would be surprised at how even someone as old as her could be given new perspective on life and the nature of being. Isabelle's ability to read the emotions of others, however, would prove a double-edged sword at times.
"Momma, why come you're always biting your lip when you talk to— Oh! Is it 'cause you wanna smooch him?"
Isabelle conversely thought her mother to be the nicest, biggest, strongest, and best person in the whole world, even if a bit odd.
Maya: Maya was much of what Izzy wasn't: tall, strong, quiet, and the spitting image of their mother. Though many of the adults in her life showed concern over her sister's lack of communication, Izzy thought that was silly. Maya knew all the important words and how to say them like "hungry" or "love" or "mailman."
On occasion, Maya would ask her sister for help in regards to little projects she called "missions." Izzy didn't quite understand what Maya was doing or why, but it was nice to spend time with her sibling and accomplish something.
Chel: Like Maya, Chel was everything Izzy wasn't: small, round, and prickly as a durian. She was also the owner of Twi'Tone, a shadowy creature which was the closest thing their family had to a dog, which Izzy was admittedly envious of. But above all that, Chel was clever, and her quick wit was something Izzy admired immensely.
Izzy took Chel's place as elder sister very seriously, and would cooperate with whatever she said. Though sometimes she'd question as to why it was necessary to sneak into a theater or set up a gamble to be inherently unfair, Chel always had an answer for everything which was reassuring.
"Chichi says people who can't see cheating deserve it. And if they cry, they're saying they lost! So that's why we can't ever cry and never-ever lose!"
Abilities
Too-Rye-Ay: Izzy was born with the innate ability to draw objects toward her. This power relied on a direct line of sight to the target, but otherwise seemed to disregard any barriers or containers such as window panes or steel bars. Objects pulled to Izzy ranged from small rocks to fully-grown animals, but nothing Izzy herself couldn't feasibly move herself such as a car, building, or individual pieces attached to a machine. Too-Rye-Ay was also limited in that it couldn't take things currently under observation.
If asked, Izzy would say she wasn't sure why she needed to mutter her nonsensical rhyme of "too-ra-loo-rye-ay" (often varied in melody and the placement of words) other than it "feeling right." She could spend a full minute, eyes closed, mumbling her song until a triumphant "ay" where she'd open her eyes to find the target of her desire suddenly in-hand. At the age of ten, Izzy's greatest accomplishment with this ability was the retrieval of a stray dog she spotted sleeping under a tree down in the city below her house.
"I'd spent many a night observing mine baby, attempting to witness the secret of how one so small could obtain a jar of cookies placed high above the floor."
