Book 7: Wind, Chapter 16: Uncertainty Report

Rao and Callow continue their journey into the cave, encountering several cats and abandoned tents. Finally, they find themselves meeting Professor Carmicle, and having a brief conversation with him. The group then decides to get back to URMOM. After making a distraction by summong the broken one, the circle makes their way to URMOM. Upon arriving at URMOM, the party makes their way back to Manaki, encountering a localized magic draining storm. In Manaki, the circle gets into a ship battle against Neox, managing to destroy 3 ships, a fourth fleeing before they could be destroyed. Things seem to be going well with Katherine, as they explain the missunderstanding. However, Katherine set the party up, with Dr Joann Caveson drugging the party and taking them away.
