Paladin's Oath
The Paladin's Oath is an iron-clad vow made by neophytes of the Epsilon Paladins upon ascension to the rank of the Paladin (fully-fledged battle brother).
This vow is penned to a scroll, which is then stored within the paladin's personal belongings, or provided to the reclusiam for safekeeping.
Full Initiation and the Paladin's Oath
Once a neophyte has recieved all of the necessary surgeries and gene enhancements, they are ready to become a Space Marine. During such an occasion, a ceremony is held with at least one Oathwarden of the chapter present, where the Neophyte is presented a ceremonial sword. Each neophyte's ceremonial sword is unique, having been sourced from the chapter's deep armouries or hand-crafted by skilled artisans and paladin techmarines. Before those present, the neophyte brandishes the sword aloft and swears the Paladin's Oath - with these final vows spoken, the initiation ritual is complete and the neophyte is declared a paladin battle brother of the chapter.Paladin's Oath
