Sarenrae

The Dawnflower

Sarenrae, also called the Dawnflower, the Healing Flame, and the Everlight by her faithful, Sarenrae embodies compassion, patience, and temperance. She teaches that peace is the highest virtue, and whenever possible, even enemies should be given the chance for redemption. Her faith is spread across Golarion but she is held in special reverance in Qadira and the Empire of Kelesh.

Sarenrae, with her lovers, Desna, and Shelyn.

"The Dawnflower’s light does not choose who it touches; it falls upon the noble and the wicked, the penitent and the proud. To those who turn their faces to her radiance, she offers warmth, healing, and the promise of a brighter path. But to those who spurn her light, she is the fire that burns away falsehoods, leaving only truth behind. In her glow, all may find redemption, but only if they dare to seek it."

"The sun does not scorn the shadows, for without them, her light would have no meaning. She rises each day not to condemn the darkness but to chase it away, offering warmth to those who seek it and fire to those who deny it.

Redemption is the path she lights, a journey of struggle and growth, but one that any soul may walk if they have the courage to face her radiant truth."
- From Pious's Saerenite texts.
All eyes are set upon Pious who steadies herself despite bleeding and having her hair singed. She tries to abate the smoldering of her tunic as she speaks.
“I’m alright, thank you. Sarenrae will protect me.”
The cleric of Desna steps forward and places a supporting hand on her shoulder.
“Desna and Sarenrae are allies. Last time I heard the story, Sarenrae did not slay the rough beast Rovagug alone, she had help from her allies, Desna included.”
The young girl relents and Father Zantus calls upon the powers of his faith to heal the girl's wounds.

Echoes of alliances
Jinx audibly ponders the possibility that one of the skeletons may have belonged to Father Tobyn.
The sheriff shakes his head. "Belor wasn't buried with these crude weapons."
"Those are scimitars, right? Sarenrae's?" the gnome asked.
"Yes but Tobyn was a priest of Desna, they use starknives." Belor answered.
