Tendril Umar
Tendril Umar is a condescending but friendly Squiddle priest that serves as an enforcer and officer for the Dohobeb Priest-State.
Umar is a zealous and sincere priest and bureaucrat who reports to the Brachial Heart-Council of Prosperity. He was assigned to manage quarantine procedures, cleansing rituals, and to check for magical corruption in the waters around the port of Halamahi. This is a job he takes very seriously and he seems to have unwavering confidence in his ability to contain and cleanse the Rot Plague from their waters. To his credit, he seems to have had some success at least.
Umar is rather callous and uninterested in the perspectives or beliefs of those below his caste. He is also relatively cavalier in his appropriation of commonsquid labor to do painstaking checks on every rock, shellfish, and piece of debris he wants looked over for signs of corruption. That said, he does possess a clear zeal and desire to benefit the common good.
