First Tailotha Uprising

The First Tailotha Uprising of 2017 ME was a political movement in the city of Tailotha against Overseer Kova Etavia and military excess by the Kingdom of Analona. It was stirred by Potha Sarana and her allies in the city, who mobilized local discontent against the suppression of the syncretic Weniko-Saraka Cult of Arakara and its priestesses. The riots spread to the market district when the Fighter's Guild protected pro-rebellion voices from a ragtag district militia of poachers and residents. In the market, the riots took on a more secular and economic quality focused on the disruption of peaceful trade and excessive taxation of urbanites to fund colonial expansion.    According to Seargant Kevara the Siren in her talks with Potha Sarana, the Tailotha Uprising managed to briefly seize control of the city before falling to infighting and military suppression. The chaos of the Uprising lives on, but the full shape of that chaos is unknown.
