The 9 Crowns
Look, kid, don't get mad at me that a street rumor didn't work. Why would the Crowns show up in response to a ritual? They're not spirits, no matter what Jim may say about it.
The most famous team of Aces, formed before the term even existed, the 9 Crowns were formed as a ragtag group of Ushabti by the much lauded Marsdon Arceneaux, perhaps the most famous Runner of them all. Their feats are too numerous to be listed, but they've done it all. Heists, corporate sabotage, protection jobs, and extractions. Anything at all, really. Though perhaps their most notable act is immortalized as the Twilight Blitz. First contact and first conflict, all in one, with the species we now know as the Formorians.
