Ushabti
The blanket title for most forms of synthetic life in the modern age, when one does not wish to use the more scientific title of "Autonomous Machine Platform"/"AMP", Ushabti are perhaps the most common form of synthetic assistance in the New Age.
Using the Machine-Mind, the mental capabilities of a living being, human or not, can be placed within the synthetic shell and it will feel completely at home. Even animals, from household commons like dogs to larger beasts of burden like cattle, come in Ushabti form.
The term "Ushabti" is a comparatively new term, having subplanted the much more technical terms used early on into their introduction as a means to dehumanize them in Organic eyes. While not universal, it has become a more... acceptable term, though not all abide by it due it's tacit implication of servitude.
