The Tiefling Hegemony is an authoritarian nation located on Iyass. As it's name suggests, it has a mostly Tiefling population, though other races do live within it's borders. 80% of the Hegemony's population is tiefling The nations population is 30 million, it's capital and largest city is the port of Kentar located on the coast of the Sedna Ocean.
The Hegemony's geography mostly woodlands, hills and mountains. The eastern part of the nation has fertile land and is heavily agrarian.
Life in the Hegemony is marked by an abundance of laws that dictate evrey aspect of a persons life. Evreything from what clothing can be worn by who to how much water can be used during baths is under strict control of the Hegemony's government. However, the system is highly corrupt and those with money or connections can often break laws with impunity. This systemic corruption has made the Hegemony a haven for criminal organizations looking to operate without law enforcement intervention.
Despite their great ideological diffrences with most nations on Ghala, they have joined the defensive coaltion to protect themselves against the looming threat of the Draconic Imperium.

The Republic and the Hegemony have major disagreements in reagards to politics and societal ethics. However, the two have mostly put aside their diffrences to fight back the impending threat of the Draconic Imperium.
The Republic views the Hegemony as a morally and politically rotten nation that must undergo major reforms for it to be considerd anything but a stain on the civilized world.
The Hegemony views the Republic as a nation of weak willed fools with child like ideals on how the world works.
The two nations are part of the Iyass Defensive Coalition and work together to stop the Draconic Imperium. However, given persisting tensions it is likely that once the Imperium is dealt with the two nations may engage in hostilities.

The Elven Kingdom views the Hedgemony as a rotten institution that wastes land and rescources that rightfully belong to the elven people. The elves who live in Hedgemony territory have abandoned their racial herritage and are worthy of nothing but contempt.
The Tiefling Hedgemony views the Kingdom as a nuisence that they can't get rid of because it would effect their bottom line too much.
