Xarus continued trying to prove his worth to Remus by joining the Seekers. As an Acolyte, Xarus spent time researching the prophetic runes that appear on the roots of the World Tree. Xarus has aspirations of his own even if his reach could never achieve the lofty expectations of his father and the Silverstaff family legacy. His current standing as an Electorate of the Tenth Eastern Moot does not come from his father but his mother who died of the Fogholt Plague. She is a descendant of both the Verki and Windslayer families through her northern Aldurblud lineage.
