Tieflings

Tieflings are humanoids - almost always born to Humans, Elves, Orcs, Half-Elves or Half-Orcs - whose mortal essence is mingled with Otherfire thanks to some dealing with a fiend or fiends. They do not have an ancestral culture of their own, since they are born of other lineages and do not always breed true, but instead have always dwelt on the fringes of other civilisations, among the other outcasts.   There are stories of a civilisation in the far west of Erask where a group of Tieflings entered into a pact with a God. Tieflings describe this as a utopia, without hate or shame, while others speak of a portal into the Otherfire.
