Laewaes (Lie-vase)
A coastal town, renowned for the Baron who holds amazing and awe inspiring festivals that draw people from all over Ambisie and even some from other countries.
Demographics
Typically, the citizens are made up of humans, half-humans, gnomes, dwarves, halflings and elves.
The gnomes have a small neighborhood closest to the trail to Cold fire caves where the dwarven population comes from.
Humans and half-humans make up the majority of the town, with the town overseer being half-gnome.
The elves prefer to keep close to the forrests and their neighborhoods can even be seen as small villages making up the town.

Government
The Mayor keeps order for the town and keeps in contact with the Baron to ensure things are planned accordingly, taxes are correct and other such legal nonsense.
They also are on par with the head or chief soldier. They do not mix their 'powers' over the town. The head soldier, with the town's soldiers' corp., is responsible for taking care of any crimes commited and keeping the town safe from threats, bringing criminals before the people's court when necessary.

Defences
Towers along the coast house the soldiers able to take to sea if the need should arise but are primarily to keep ships from wrecking.
Soldiers also patroll the inner city to ensure safety and to help in menial tasks for civilians, as Tanontem would want.
The outskirts of the town hold towers within a few miles of eachother that also house soldiers to ensure the town is safe from threats.

Industry & Trade
The mines and the harbor are the main resources that keep the town alive, with the market coming in next.
Imports of some farming food and other such materials come from either nearby villages or by sea.
Many fine ingredients for exquisite meals come from Laewaes, along with livestock and furs. In a sense, one could say the people of the town is also an export for the experienced sailors and fisherman that set off.

Infrastructure
To the west of the town is the farming district, with wells and wind mills.
To the south is the mining district, as well as the Cold Fire Cave Clan, and also holds a guild building for the Sodality of Cognition.
The Northern Part of town is a harbor and shipyard and the fish market next to the town's central trade area. From the trade center are major cobblestone roads leading to each district.
Plumbing is available throughout town except for in the elven "villages" and in the mines. This of course means there are sewers underneath the town.
