Orcs

Orcs are a humanoid race who are known for being incredible artisans and for being keenly in touch with their environmental sorroundings. Orcs live in small community bubbles across the land, and will interact with other orcish clans only on occasions and humans but only for the purposes of trade.   They live in naturalistic environments, constructing circular-shaped buildings around the trunks and branches of trees. They use their forest environments to cronstruct these impressive wooden structures from wood, mud, hide and amber. which are light enough to hold their weight in the trees but study enough to hold out against harsh weather. It's common to have residential huts in the tree tops and use the base of trees for rearing animals.   Orcs know how to use their natural environment to their advantage and are attuned to the seasons and cycles of life moreso than any other race. They are know for exporting raw materials like goods such as amber, resin, hide and bones. With Amber and resin are harvested from tappers embeded in trees and hide coming from the lifestock they rear. Orcish hide is known to be of the highest quality and with it they are able to construct some of the most sturdy and beautifully intricate leather armour pieces. Many Orcs live near rich clay deposits and so are skilled at creating earthenware, which is vital for the cooking and preservation of food.   Orcs are active hunters, and often use hunting patterns involving using 'Broadwings', a type of bird of prey that is able to locate and herd vunerable animals, broadwings are trained from a young age and often paired with orcish children to rear. To be gifted a broadwing is an important rite of passage for orchish children hunters.   Orcs run communities where people are given the same, equal status, although it is common to seek guidence and decisions from the oldest in the village, with the expection of the Aspers who take on the role of village leader.
