Azantium
Azantium is the capital of the Plains, it is technically a monarchy, but it's no great secret that it's truly an Oligarchy, ruled by a council formed of the 3 most influential members of each represented race in Azantium. The Emperor tends to be more of a figure-head, but they aren't politically disabled, to become Emperor they must first be elected from among the Oligarch council.
Also given a position on the council are the arch-popes of the Twin Flame Churches, and the Principals of the Imperial Universities various sectors.
Emperors of Azantium, upon ascending to the throne, give up their given name.
Due to this practice, the only way to tell the Emperor's apart is their family name.
Currently the Emperor is Emperor Mulvern.
Azantium is broken up into sectors:
These sectors are mostly guidelines designed during the cities construction, and the sectors have sprawled amongst each other over time and as the city has had to be rebuilt due to Elf Raids.
