Holidays
The Day of Longest Light
Été 5 - Été 25
This is the beginning of Aeon's holy festival that lasts until its conclusion on the 25th of Été. It is the longest day of the year, and devout worshipers from the city of Concorde begin a 20 day journey through the Valley of Nova to have the Eternal Torch blessed in every village until its final lighting on the 25th in Concorde at the start of Domini's holy day. Every village celebrates the festival in their own way, but all villagers pray to Aeon for good harvests.
Divine Goals & Aspirations
Warriors who work in the name of the light often gravitate toward the teachings of Aeon, especially female warriors. They are known to seek out light in the darkness and to carry the Eternal Torch across the Valley of Nova throughout the Day of Longest Light in Été. Fierceness, but that tempered by a kind heart, are vital components of what make a good follower of Aeon.
Farmers pray to her to watch over their fields and to protect their crops from lurking dangers and the stinging ray of the sun.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
The Torch Bearer is usually depicted in artwork as a tough elven woman with flaming red hair and bright orange eyes. She is always holding a torch and is typically depicted running toward something. Some artwork also depicts her as a brave warrior, wielding her holy weapon, the Torch, against creatures made of pure darkness. There is always an essence of fierceness in her depictions, and she is perhaps the most warrior-like of the female Champions. She wears brilliant, shimmering armor that reflects the sunlight. She does not have legs, and they are instead depicted as pure, solid light.

Personal history
In her mortal days, Aeon was known for her prowess on the battlefield. As part of the most ancient--now lost--civilizations of elves, the Calen, Aeon was the official general of her people, wielding a flaming sword on the battlefield. Aeon was a legend in her own right and when the War for Creation began, she was chosen as Pelor's Champion. The Calen began to formally worship her and many of her elven brethren followed her and Pelor into battle against the Corrupt Gods.
Aeon was responsible for helping vanquish a number of the Corrupt Gods, including Tharizdun and Zehir. She helped to weaken them to protect the Creators as they prepared their ultimate sacrifice. However, before the Corrupt Gods were imprisoned, Zehir struck one last time against Aeon, laying waste and destruction upon the Calen Dynasty. Aeon was the only survivor. The advanced civilization of elves was wiped from history.
In the years following the War for Creation, Aeon founded a group of female warriors dedicated to protecting the innocent and seeking darkness in the world to bring it to the light. Though she is known for her kind heart, this still did not keep Aeon from her more ruthless nature. Only Domini was known to have quelled her rages.
Much of the history surrounding the Shattering and the involvement of the Twelve Champions has been lost, but it is largely understood that in the Divine Wars--the war between the Twelve Champions that occured just before the Shattering--Aeon lost one of her legs and her holy weapon, the Torch, was lost as well.
