Mirror Lake
This lake lies in the northeastern section of the continent, a small island at its center. The surrounding land is mostly marsh, home to a variety of lesser fey creatures (blink dogs, hags, etc.). The island in the center is home to the hag responsible for destroying the Great Library of Knowledge.
Some minor groups along the outskirts of the lake may offer boats for coin. However, these are often scams requiring the party to pay inordinate amounts of money for the use of a boat. If the party chooses to purchase the use of a boat, the entity will paddle them out to the location, then abandon them swiftly once the shore is reached. The party may notice this with a high enough perception check, though the entity may just row off once the party is out of sight.
The water on the surface of the lake is smooth even on the windiest of days, giving the lake its name. This is due to magical properties within the lake itself. There are fish and other forms of wildlife in the water that can be retrieved as a food source. Berries and mushrooms can also be located in the surrounding area, though only some are edible. Party members will need to make a nature dc in order to determine their safety.
The closer the party gets to the island, the foggier the air becomes. This is due to a spell that the hag has cast to protect her home. More can be learned about the hag's home in its written article titled "Journey to the Swamp Domain".
Geography
A lake surrounded by dense marshland and forest. It is in the middle east portion of the continuent. The stillness of the lake brings many curious creatures to view the beautiful scene. However, the dangerous creatures that reside within the marsh do scare most intelligent lifeforms from the area.
Ecosystem
This area has a thriving ecosystem due to the fresh water. Animal life has been allowed to roam free, giving it a natural ecosystem within the feywild. While there is some intelligent life here, the extent of intelligent creatures stop at goblins.
Ecosystem Cycles
Seasons do not pass in the Feywild as they may in the Material Plane. Therefore, there are never any changes of note that you might expect.
