Unlike other wyverns that dominate terrestrial prey, the Banshee Wyvern is an avian specialist, evolved to hunt flying creatures with unparalleled precision. Rarely seen except in the wild, these wyverns prefer high-altitude nesting grounds, taking refuge in towering cliffs, dense mountain forests, and ancient craggy peaks. Even experienced hunters may never witness one in action—only the sudden, unnatural silence of the sky, followed by the sharp keening wail that signals its attack.

Physical Characteristics

Banshee Wyverns are larger than many other small wyverns, reaching up to five feet in length with a wingspan nearly double their body size, making them among the most aerodynamically efficient wyverns in Fanterath.
