Water Fairy
Residing on the coasts of beaches, the deepest depths of the ocean, or amidst the marshes of the swamp, these fairies are imbued with the gift of water coursing through their veins. They revel in life's simple pleasures, from a walk down the sandy shore, or the mesmerizing beauty of the sun as it sets over the horizon.
Water fairies are known for their more laid-back, go-with-the-flow attitudes, navigating the unpredictable currents of life with ease. Their strongest emotional connections lie with the intertwined threads of love and sadness. They feel their emotions as deeply as the ocean, yet akin to the gentle ebb and flow of the tides, water fairies gracefully let them flow away like receding waves.
In their essence, they are natural healers, both mentally and physically. They encourage embracing one's own emotions, to feel and then heal. They are compassionate beings, reassuring that it's okay to shed tears, and offering a gentle shoulder during those times of overflowing emotion.
Water fairies play a vital role in taking care of the various aquatic ecosystems of Faetalia, ensuring their health and vitality. From the smallest aquatic beings to its more majestic inhabitants, the water fairies play a pivotal role in maintaining the delicate balance of Faetalia's wondrous waters.

Powers
Each fairy gets an Inherited Power that they are born with. A fairy will then do their best to master their abilities within that power set and eventually develop Talents. Inherited Powers naturally start off weak, and becoming stronger in one's abilities comes with the discovery of one's talent.
Inherited Powers
- Water Magic – The ability to manipulate and control water. Most Water Fairies start only being able to control small amounts, or have a lack of control, before honing in on a specific talent.
- Marine Animal Communication – The ability to communicate with marine life, from the fish and creatures in the ocean, to those that reside in ponds or rivers. However, many fairies will hone in on a specific type of water with their talent. (Fresh or salt water)
- Underwater Breathing – While most water fairies can breathe underwater for an extended period of time, they still need to come up for air. Fairies with this ability can breathe underwater like its air, and this power is often accompanied by gills and tails.
You may only select one Inherited Power, and it must be one of these three. You are able to be more creative with talents, which will stem from the Inherited Power.
Talents
Each talent stems from the fairy's Inherited Power, and vary in rarity, with some talents harder to accomplish than others.
Some talents for Water Fairies include, but are absolutely not limited to:
- Ocean Talents
- Freshwater Talents
- Bubble Talents
- Healing Talents
- Caretaker Talents
- Training Talents
- Veterinary Talents
- Reef Talents
- Depth Talents
- Deep Sea Talents
For an extended list of Water talents, head on over to Water Talents!
There is plenty of room for creativity when it comes to talents! As long as it in some way relates to the inherited power, and isn't too overpowered, we are excited to see what you come up with!
However, there will also be a level lock when it comes to coming up with your own talents. You must reach level 5 within the server for your fairy to acquire the talent, but you can still put on your doc that they are aspiring for a specific talent that isn't listed here!
