Morrígan - The Lady of Dread
Lady Morrigan is an ancient Archfey of the Feywild and a member of the Unseelie Court.
Morrigan is a terrifying and imposing individual, with many Fey creatures fearing her. It is said that the feeling of dread heralds her arrival. Morrigan bears the tiles of the “Phantom Queen” and the “Lady of Dread” because of the primal fear she evokes.
Morrigan is said to be able to see the strands of fate itself, and even alter them. She is commonly associated with doom and dread, specifically the doom and dread of a fated death. It is heavily rumoured that Morrigan knows how every mortal will die.
Morrigan is sometimes confused for one of the Keres due to her presence at locations of battle and strife. It is unknown why she frequents these locations, but rumour suggests she enjoys seeing the threads of fate being cut as a mortal dies.
Morrigan is also associated with Crows and Banshees, she is sometimes accompanied by an entourage of both and is said to be able to create Banshees.
Morrigan is a prominent courtier in the Unseelie Court and a close ally of Queen Mab.
Appearance:
