Mab - The Winter Queen
Mab is the Queen of Winter and the Unseelie Court, she is one of the most powerful of Archfey and the personification of Winter, negative emotion, and decay. Mab is a cold and spiteful Archfey who despises the performative nature and the excess of the Seelie.
Mab is the daughter of Demeter, who gifted her domain over Winter. Mab is also one of the two reigning monarchs of the Feywild. She rules over the Unseelie courts of Autumn and Winter, while her sister Titania rules over the Seelie courts of Spring and Summer. The sisters despise each other and have an intense rivalry.
Mab is a well liked monarch, she is considered a firm yet merciful and shows concern foremost with the wellbeing of her subjects.
Mab is sometimes worshipped alongside her mother Demeter during Winter, especially for protection from snowstorms. But she is primarily treated as a monarch by her subjects in the Feywild.
