Elvish

Elvish is the primary language of Elvish communities, such as the settlements of the Kingdom of Lorth’elon and the Coven of Maran.   The language sees a lot of use across Exorsia despite Elves having such a small population compared to Humans and Dwarves. This is due to Elvish’s cultural impact, with it being a popular language for songs and poems. Many ancient texts are exclusively written in Elvish, making it popular among historians and archeologists, and being such an ancient language, Elvish is also found used in arcane texts and rituals. Elvish is also a frequently taught language, especially among the higher class, with it seen as a language of class and status in certain places across Exorsia.   Elvish is an ancient language, first developed in the Feywild before the Elves came to Exorsia. It is a fluid and melodic language with subtle intonations and intricate grammar. The language also has an innate magical nature, making it perfect for use in arcane study.
