Summer Camp 2025
Oh, I do like to be beside the seaside...
I pledge to aim for the copper badge during Summer Camp 2025. I also pledge to find joy in creation, not to burn myself out, and to throw myself back into the community that has given me so much.
Summer Camp in Etrea
My goals for Summer Camp in 2025 are much more chill than in 2024, mostly because of health reasons. I'm officially aiming for the copper badge, as I don't want to miss out entirely on this tradition, but I need to be kind to myself. If things get better, I will think about aiming higher. We'll see what happens. I'm not aiming for beautiful, complete articles, as always - I want to get the basic idea down so I know what I'm doing when I flesh it out later. Expanded stubs have been working well for me, so I shall continue along that theme. One of my goals last year was to finish rewriting the Serukis article. I still haven't finished that, although I have made good progress. I want to get back to working a little on that each day too, and maybe finish it by the end of Summer Camp. I'll be ending Summer Camp on a Norwegian cruise, which will be kind of poetic as the current aesthetic of Serukis was inspired by my last trip to Norway. And, as ever, I am still working on making all the stubs in Etrea expanded and readable. Only a thousand or so left to go... I'm sure Summer Camp with give me at least a hundred more. :D Like last year, I created a variable to mark articles created this Summer Camp. Here it is!Nourishment + Roots + Metamorphosis + Tomorrow
Prompts
Nnie's Camp Chill Guidelines
- Remember the prompts are suggestions, not requirements.
- Write what you're passionate about, leave what you aren't.
- Relax when you feel tired.
- Fight off any pesky brain-squitos trying to make you doubt your work.
- Don't abandon your non-summercamp goals! Write that article you're itching to write, even if it doesn't fit any prompts.
