Egg Island is a small island of ice and rock, located about a mile off the coast from the Barren. It gets its name from its roughly ovoid shape. The island is claimed by the country of Dryst, who have planted their flag around its coastline.
The Golden Telescope Guild, an eminent Drystian astrological society, has set up an observatory there to study the stars.
Egg Island is the only known habitat of the rimeworm, a large worm that can only survive in temperatures below freezing.
