Dryst

  Dryst is a large country in western Sarsand, separated from Moragul by the Gulguns. Whilst most of the country is temperate, its north is characterised by tropical forests. The country has miles and miles of diverse coastline, from sandy beaches to rocky cliff faces, and has a thriving culture of fishing, seafaring, and being one with the land that goes back millennia.   The country is currently in a period of turbulant change and innovation, in what has been termed an industrial revolution. Steam power was discovered in Dryst about fifty years ago, though there is still much controversy about the identity of its inventor. The one thing everyone can agree on is that the Drystians beat the Estic to it.
