Cedrick Ryswell
Cedrick Ryswell is the current head of House Ryswell. He assumed control after his father's death in 457 AE. Beloved by the townsfolk, he is a popular figure, and many support his expansionist views.
Personal History
Cedrick was born in 434 AE. A gregarious young boy, he always wanted to be the center of attention. When his mother was killed on the road returning from Allesar, he was raised primarily by his father and by priests of the Unseen God. During his teen years, he would often venture into nearby Cashire to carouse and entertain. He became popular with the townsfolk due to his charitous nature, always offering to buy drinks or help unlucky fishermen. His views also aligned more with the church's stance on Falorian competition than with Bradyn's consolidation of power and peace. More than once during his teens, Cedrick publicly called out his father's policies as weak. As he entered his twenties, though, public denouncements of his father ceased as the two became closer. Bradyn enacted slightly more liberal policies while Cedrick saw to the appeasement of the vassal nobles. In 457 AE, while hunting a Givern Stag near Howlester, Cedrick and Bradyn were ambushed by assassins. Cedrick was wounded, but managed to escape, but his father was killed during the attack. While recovering from his wounds, Cedrick assumed the title of Lord.Relationships
