Chapel of the Chara
The Chapel that is located in the Village of Libraries. While spellcasters of the island are not particularly religious but there are clerics who reside on the island. It is said that the chapel was one of the first places of worship in the realms and may even contain a portal to the The Eternal Domain.
The entrance of the chapel is a long corridor filled with bookshelves leading the way to the main chapel. Crossing the threshold to the chapel, there is a large circular room made out of dozens of alcoves. Each alcove holds a shrine to one of the Chara Spirits.
Purpose / Function
To allow for the worship of all the Chara Spirits in a safe location. Part of the Chapel has been converted into a library about the domains in the Eternal domain of the Chara Spirits.
Defenses
History
Built in the year 10, many of those who were drawn to the worship of the Chara Spirits made their way to this small chapel. It became a pilgrimage for those who decided to spend their lives in devotion to the immortals.
Before the year 135 all worshippers of any Chara Spirit were welcome in the temple but then those who worshipped malicious deities began to plot the destruction of the Magi Assembly.
