This brought you on the road to Monsallorea, which you approached by following the river to the city of Cappebraccia and then taking the disused Delta Trail around the lake to Monsallorea itself.   A day's travel away from your destination, at the keep of Fordefract, you found out that the local liege lord was building a bridge over the Blue Appius there. You also heard officials conversing with people with a foreign accent but were chased away as soon as you were noticed across the ford in the Appius here. From there you have made your way up to Maremot, encountering signs of death in the form of unusual flocks of crows on the sea side of the trail on the way. In Maremot, you were staying with Father Cidrico Valone, the curate, an elven priest who is stressed out by all the work he's doing but always happy to help out. You arrived in Maremot on the last day of Rexentide, the 8th month of the year, a day before session 1.
