The Moonrunner Syndicate

"After meeting with their representative, a very attractive young Febralian woman, I was blindfolded and brought to a secret location. When we arrived at the meeting place, I found myself in a beautiful mansion. Mister Mosconi met me in the lobby and invited me to dinner. We had the most succulent lamb I'd ever tasted, authentic Febralian wine. When it came time to do business, Mosconi was straight to the point. He asked me what I wanted. I told him I needed guns. He brought me to a firing range downstairs, showed me his selection, invited me to try one out. The practice targets were wheeled in; three fellas tied up on some vertical stretchers. When I asked who they were, he just chuckled and said that the only way to know for sure was to try it on the real thing. I couldn't argue with that. I tried a few different selections over the next hour or so. The screaming was a little off-putting, but Mosconi said it added to the authenticity. Eventually I found one I liked. He gave me a number, I had it wired to his accounts, and we were done. My associates received the shipment in less than a week, and Mosconi even threw in some grenades on the house. We launched the coup in Tebran three days ago and the prime minister has already surrendered! I'm looking forward to doing business with the Moonrunners again."

Structure

The Febral cell is the smaller but more powerful one, led by Sean Abaden Mosconi. An older man, Mosconi has been running the Moonrunners for decades, and has carved out a comfortable living for himself in the Febral countryside. His cell controls two major cities in Febral, as well as a handful of small towns and mining operations that serve as fronts for his illicit activities. His cell’s activities have taken on a less volatile nature in recent years due to Mosconi’s age, focusing primarily on illegal trading and contraband goods. Make no mistake, however; despite his age, Mosconi is as ruthless as they come. Though he’s soft spoken and handles most situations with a deft hand, he’s not afraid to resort to brutal measures to get his way.

Public Agenda

Mosconi's syndicate is dedicated solely to the acquisition of wealth through illicit means, such as gun running, drug trade, and extortion. Building and maintaining that wealth is their only concern.

Assets

The Moonrunner syndicate is incredibly wealthy and powerful, boasting millions of Union dollars and a membership that more resembles a private army than a gang. They are well armed, well equipped, and well trained. Besides Mosconi's countryside estate, the syndicate also runs multiple towns in Febral and the Outlands, including mining operations and merchant towns. In his private life, Mosconi even owns and rents out property in Febralian cities, using the rent money to fund his syndicate.
