Stratigós
Stratigós (Hellian: Στρατηγός) is the title given to the military governor of the Hellian Imperium. The Stratigós acts as the direct military advisor to the Emperor and the commanding officer of the Doúkes. The position of the Stratigós is usually for life, but it can be revoked by the Emperor as punishment for a major crime, such as treason. After the death or removal of a Stratigós, a new one is appointed by the Emperor, choosing from either one of the Doúkes or a petitioning courtier.
