Dróngos
A dróngos (Hellian: δρόγγος) is a battalion of infantrymen in the Hellian Army. It is commanded by a drongários (δρογγάριος). There are three types of infantry typically assigned to drongoí. The most prevalent infantrymen are javelin-throwing skirmishers called peltastés (πελταστές), named for the shields they wield. The next most prevalent are the psiloí (ψιλοί), who are lightly armored archers. The third type of infantry found in drongoí are the skoutátoi (σκουτάτοι), who are heavily armored front-line spearmen.
