Wildspeaker

A strange mystic, they tend to grow up in the wild. Either raised by beasts or near them. They have learned the nature language of the animals and have gained their trust allowing the Wildspeaker to call upon friends in the wilderness for aid.

Class Level Abilities

Level 1

Active Abilities
Animal Companion: A member of your allied species has gained your trust and decided to travel with you. If applicable, they fight on your action. You can use a partial action to give them more than a one word order. One worded orders are free actions. Otherwise they act on their own accord to the nature of the beast or follow your last order.  
Conditional Abilities
Companion’s Boon: A Wildspeaker can invoke the insight of their companion to help them in many ways. Gain a bonus relating to your chosen companion while within their company.

  Wildspeak: You have learned to communicate with your chosen species. You gain fluency in their language and gain a +12 Nature when accompanied by one of the chosen species.  
Passive Abilities
Beastial Bond: You attach yourself with a certain type of animal, choose an animal group and a specific creature within that group. This will affect some of your class abilities. (See Table on sidebar)   Gathering Power: When this ability is gained, for each instance of Gathering Power you already have, gain an additional 10 mana.   One with the Beasts: Your chosen species feels calm around you and will not harm you or your companions unless you begin the aggression.   Sorcery Lessons: When this ability is gained, for each instance of Sorcery Lessons you already have, gain an additional +10 Divination.

Dabbling in Magic: A Wildspeaker gains two new spells and a spellbook to keep them in. They also gain a spell focus. This can be in the form of a staff, wand, an orb or another object upon DM discretion. They must hold their spell focus in order to cast spells. If multiclassing, the Wildspeaker uses the same focus and spellbook as before.   Gathering Power: When this ability is gained, for each instance of Gathering Power you already have, gain an additional 10 mana.   Lesser Abrasion to Technology: When attempting to use a technological anomaly, a Wildspeaker receives a -15 to the roll. The Wildspeaker gets a -15 on Energy Weapons, Energy Shield, Firearms, Technology, Mechanical Riding, and Use Energy Shield.   Low Starting Mana Pool: Gain 30 mana.
