How to Create a Character
To start, when creating a character in Endeavour, you start with rolling ability scores. Please roll ability scores now.
After you have rolled your ability scores, the next step is to pick a race. Here is the list of races. Click on each race for more information. While picking a race, please take note of the size category table.
Classes are grouped into class groups. Each class can only multiclass into classes in the same class group. The list of class groups is here. As with races, click on each group for more information.
In this RPG, characters aren’t assumed to have lived in their ordinary locations and their racial traits are the only things that occur naturally. Where a character lives affects them. Pick a culture for your race to be part of. As before, click on each for more information. Religion also plays a huge role in Endeavour, pick which religion your character follows.
Skills are to be chosen now. Mark down the skills given by race, class, culture and traits at this time as well. The ruling for picking skills is found here. This is the Skills Tree.
Pick Equipment from this list here. To purchase equipment take 3d6 * 10 * Class Currency Modifer * Culture Currency Modifier to get the total amount of money you get at first level. Use the carrying capacity article to determine your lift max. Trade goods and hirelings/transportation can also be purchased. After purchasing, remaining money is converted to culture’s currency.
