The Motherland
The Motherland(location) is synonymous with The Motherland(organization). Ruled as a Matriarchy, The Motherland is a very closed organization that reveals little in its power structure. Yet political actors move up and down in recognition before the Queen on a regular basis, with little predictability to outside observers.
Structure
The Queen rules with absolute Authority. All positions of power are held by Her sisters and their children. Money has no inherent power except as a means to better support The Motherland.

Authoritarian Socialism.

Ensure the wellbeing of the people. Rarely can the peoples need be met by their own lands though.

Assets for the Organization are numerous, though the exact extent is unkown, their treasury and armory contain the Items from at least 6 ancient Dragon Hoards.
History
The Motherland has had several Civil wars, which have always resulted in a new Queen being coronated. Repeatedly the impetus has been a lack of sufficient resources to sustain their continued growth.
Demography and Population
The Population of The Motherland is 95% Dragonborn. Few of the other Races wish to live in their Steppes and outside the Major Cities assimilation into a clan is rare.
Territories
The Motherland is The Motherland. Holding all of the Steppe as well as the Hills of Dumin, their have been brief attempts to annex the Thunderkeep Mountains, and The Wastes of Forbidden Memory. More serious attempt for the Seiswaiegn Forest, and the Plains of Systhwoden have been made.
Military
The Motherland only has the Royal Army. With the ability to conscript from the populous, who are expected to keep themselves trained and ready, the army can swell from near nonexistent to equal to most nations, frighteningly fast. Unfortunately unlike a standing army they are not particularly well trained and while equal or superior in number, it rarely results in a higher overall combat power.
Technological Level
While not particularly driven to invent new technologies, they can quickly asses a new technology and adapt it into their culture.
Religion
All the Prime Deities are worshiped in The Motherland. But it is Bahamut, Corellon, Kord, and Moradin that are the most common to be worshipped. Worshipers of Tiamat are believed to be most prevalent in The Motherland, though no one would admit to being such.
Foreign Relations
The Motherland has Embassies in both Kingdom of Amur and the Republic of Durost. The Motherland has denied the request that they allow embassies in their capital, citing security concerns.
Agriculture & Industry
The Motherland is treated as extensive pastor by the hearders of goats, deer, lamas and sheep. Meat is always on the menu, and they favor spices and herbs that grow in the region that the animals were grazed in. Along the rivers small orchards of fruiting trees are cultivated. The Hills of Dumin produce a surprising amount of precious metals and stones that the Dragonborn utilize in their crafting. They import raw materials and export finished products.
Trade & Transport
The Motherland only has land trade, their Eastern edge does border the Ocean, but is a cliff with no reasonable location for a docks. Most of their roads are actually maintained by the Kingdom of Amur which has been a problem once during a war with their neighbor.
Education
Education is address by the extended family. There is little formalized education, but rather passive learning of most things required for their life and trade through demonstration and example. It is expected that by the time your old enough to marry you should be fully educated. Few can ignore this stigma.
Infrastructure
With little need for defensive structures and none of their neighbors would want the land they occupy and their road system maintained largely by the Kingdom of Amur, The Motherland has focused most of its will on infrastructure to communication and public needs/works. A message can be sent from almost any city to any other city near instantaneously and every city has a public healing house and at least a few mages whose training has been augmented by the Governance.

Major Exports
Some foodstuff is exported but only at high demand and thus high price. Most of their exports are the items they have crafted out of their imports. Extremely skilled artisans in a wide range of techniques allows a unique diversity of export goods.

The Motherland imports woods, stones, metals and grains, in reasonably large amounts.
Legislative Body
The Queen Alone creates new Laws. No submission or request can be made.
Judicial Body
The Queen is frequently to busy to see to most Judicial needs and has empowered several of her Sisters to act as ultimate Judges.
Executive Body
The Queen has the Royal Army as a Police force. Similar to bees, they tend to be unnoticeable until attacked at which point overwhelming Force is used.

The Republic of Durost thinks The Motherland the underdogs and wishes them luck in the world. The Motherland thinks the Republic of Durost to be impractical and unfair in their choice to keep the entirety of the Mountains, but is unwilling to make an issue of it, again.

New Haven enjoys the citizenry from The Motherland as they are polite and willing to spend and generally cause no issues. The Motherland fells that New Haven is a bit overpriced, but its nice from time to time.
