Czak Ow
Czak Ow occupies one of the more prestigious and dangerous government posts on Althena: Chief Chemist.
He assumed the position after the sudden departure (read: political exile) of Hootalin Ua, whose tenure ended in a spectacular scandal involving the theft of the Darklight Master’s wish-ring and the slow poisoning of said Master, Keyi Aw.
When the council had found out about Hootalin's return, she was damned difficult to get a hold of. Czak, a former pupil of Hootalin, was the right person to serve as an intermediary, using messaging spells to find out her purpose back on the island. They eventually allied to rid the island of the Bravia threat.
