Felicity Minx

Felicity is an instructor within the Accian Training Progam and one of the few surviving members of the Minx family, the youngest sister of Allen Minx. However, Felicity doesn't stay in contact or keep up with her family, having cut ties with Evelyn more than a decade ago. She remembers very little about Allen aside from his flight lessons, her brother keeping a strange distance between them. When Allen left, Evelyn began placing all of her expectations and hopes onto Felicity, causing Felicity to see only the worst qualities of her mother. These intense pressures molded her into an impossibly tenacious, strong-willed and short tempered individual.

Felicity became an instructor after military service partially to better avoid her mother but also to live more freely. She wants to live her own life undefined by her family. Felicity also refuses to marry and came to appreciate the injury which left her infertile. Felicity enjoyed military service especially when it got her away from her mother and family responsibilities. She is exceptional in regards to flight and aura projection and prefers to be recognized for this over her background. She is hard on her students and infamous for her short temper, but no complaints can be made about the results of her harrowing tutelage.

Felicity inherited her mother's fiery personality to an extreme. For this reason, Berenger Chevalier dislikes her intensely and goes out of his way to make her miserable. He views breaking her spirit as his ultimate challenge. Felicity is in a relationship with the other flight instructor, Simona Albescu, but they are seeing each other in secret. Felicity has mixed feelings about training Tia Minx and is especially hard on her niece. She disregards all status and recognizes only skill and hard work from her students.

Felicity is the youngest of the Minx children and the only of them not to serve during the campaign in Zhongguo. After her father's death and her brother's departure for Nippon, she was left alone with Evleyn and all of the hopes of her family fell onto her. Part of Felicity feels left out and lonesome, having been the only of her siblings not to serve together. Furthering this divide, Allen was extremely closed off and distant with her. He has never divulged why he struggles to even look her in the eye, Felicity growing embittered after his departure. Between this and her overbearing and demanding mother, Felicity has a severe distaste for the Minx family and felt freed once she was able to leave everything behind. But no matter where she travels to, Felicity carries the baggage of these a restless scars and unanswered questions.

As an Instructor within the Education Department of the Accian Military Training Program, Felicity spends her years travelling across Emynea and passing on her keen skills to the next generation of Accian soldiers! In particular, she runs the courses in Aura use, fire magic, flight and dual blade techniques. A few of these courses include Aerial Drills, Aerial Magic, Aerial Combat, Flight Basics, Advanced Flight, Aura Projection and Flithmar Magic.

Felicity is known for pushing her recruits to the edge of their limits, sometimes using her own flames to motivate proper form--her students dread failing to meet her expectations! Yet she is also known to have a good eye for talented recruits and for perceiving hidden talent or potential in general. And unlike many of her fellow instructors, Felicity cares little for her students' background or position. While her lessons are exhausting and intense, she draws out the best from her students' regardless of who they are or where they come from--all are equal before her scathing leer. It is only through effort, skill and performance that one can gain her respect!

Despite the difference in their age, Felicity and Gan have become fast friends. In fact, Gan and Felicity's partner, Simona Albescu, spend much of their free time together and make quite the trio! Berenger Chevalier enjoys berating and provoking them, none of these women caring for him. As for Felicity and Simona, they have been lovers since they were teenagers, Felicity's position forcing them to do so in secret. But even now, with the weight of her family name discarded, Felicity can't shake her urge to keep their relationship in the shadows. But unlike Felicity, Simona is adaptable, understanding and patient, the soothing shelter in Felicity's unsteady life.

The Minx household once bustled with children of every age, Felicity being the youngest of 17 siblings! Unfortunately, Felicity never got to enjoy the joy and fellowship of the Minx family. She was born into its vacant, haunting halls, ever in the shadow of her fallen siblings. Her mother's once warm and nurturing bossom had grown cold, harsh and every expectant for perfection. Even her sole serviving sibling kept her at arms length and was a tattered husk of a man to the day he departed for Nippon! And with his departure, all of her mother's desperate preservation of the family fell onto Felicity. But even that changed when, amid her own military service, she received an injury that made her infertile. But rather than despairing over her loss as her mother did, this single moment freed her!

Much as Allen had sought an escape from their vacuous home and demanding mother, so too did Felicity. But rather than leaving everything and everyone she knew behind, she and Simona strived to become instructors within the Accian Military Training Program, their years within the program the happiest moments of their lives! Some way or another, they achieved their goals and dedicated their lives to the program, able to travel the world together and make their mark not through the Minx name but by their own efforts. While this lifestyle is tiring and demanding, it has also been liberating for Felicity, and eventually connected them to Gan as well. But eventually, the ghost of her House has reared an unexpected head in their seeming sanctuary--Tia Minx! Her brother, who had once swore never to produce an heir, has reappeared and placed a new generation of expectations into her care. Is this a new opportunity to connect to the remains of her family, for Felicity to shake off the sense of being alien or left behind? Is Tia the hope of the Minx or will she also fall to the family curse and become another victim of Evelyn's expectations? All Felicity can do is push Tia to greater heights and see what her future holds!
