Hearthhill

History

Hearthhill is one of the oldest settlements in Belkar, yet also one of the smaller towns. As far back as the Age of Petty Kings, the settlement was semi permanent. These steppe people are largely nomadic, and only formed villages spontaneously for decades. Over time some spots were selected and more permanent structures were eventually constructed. However the nomadic culture of the steppe people means that’s the town population can range from a few hundred to a few thousand at different times of year.

Population

The semi nomadic nature of these steppes tribes people makes the population of Hearthhill change with the season. This population is home to anywhere from 300 to 2800 people. Of these, 50% are gnomish, 20% are elves, 15% human, 10% halfling and 5% other races.
