Anna Kariathon was Nic Raeder's fiancee. A weaver by trade, she lived in the same village as Nic, often selling cloaks and rugs to members of the village. It was while doing this that she first met Nic. The two fell in love, and eventually became engaged after a year-long courtship.
Before the marriage was to take place, The Vampir Mathias attacked the Kariathon home in the night, capturing the entire family for use in a Hexenwerk ritual. The result of the ritual was that her entire family was killed to turn her into a vampir as well. The ritual was successful, and Anna became a blooddrinker under the thrall of Mathias. The ritual had only been completed hours before when Nic arrived. Under the commands of Mathias, she attempted to feed off of Nic, but he resisted her attempts and eventually killed her after a protracted struggle.
