Ghost

Ghosts are entities composed entirely of spiritual energy phantom echoes left behind by powerful emotions, unresolved desires, or traumatic events. They are not souls, but imprints shadows of what once was.

Ghosts may haunt a specific location, person, bloodline, or object, driven by the conditions that birthed them. Their nature and behavior vary widely, falling into types such as Poltergeists, Wraiths, Phantasms, Apparitions, and more. Each form has its own tendencies and powers, but all share a common truth: they are not the person they resemble.

If a ghost appears to be a lost loved one, it is merely mimicking that presence. Its thoughts, emotions, and words are echoes, not the genuine will or consciousness of the deceased. Ghosts do not evolve they act according to the purpose of their creation.

In rare and intense circumstances, a person’s death fueled by an overwhelming will, sorrow, hatred, or love can result in the formation of a ghost that resembles them. This act is not resurrection, but a curse upon the world. The resulting spirit is a fragment with a purpose etched into its existence.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Ghosts vary greatly in appearance and style depending on their type. All are formed from ectoplasm, a volatile form of spiritual energy that can shift between states mist-like, solid, or luminous depending on the ghost’s strength, mood, and purpose.

Biological Traits

All ghosts share the ability to become solid and incorporeal at will as as creature that dose have ture body. Unless their conditions of formation or magical intervention prevent it, most can travel through solid materials as if they were mist.

Aside from that, their skills and qualities vary greatly according to their type. Some have the power Telekinesis is to move items without making physical contact. While Others may attempt to possess a vulnerable host, siphon energy from the living, or make the air around them unusually chilly. Each ghost's powers reflect its origin and the feelings or curses that brought it to existence.

Ecology and Habitats

In most cases, a ghost is tied to something, which could be a location, an object, a person, or another possibility. They can be found all around the world, which explains why there are so many ghost stories and slimarlers. The ghost is unaffected by the surrounding environment. Alot people say it stated to gets colder when there is a ghost in the close by. That depends on the ghost and dose not always happen.

Additional Information

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

A ghost's sensory system is inextricably linked to the form it takes on, resembling eyes, ears, and touch despite the absence of any physical or biological structure. Their vision is not limited by anatomy, but rather by the nature of the spiritual energy that forms them.

Dr. Liz Octavius, a renowned spectral studies expert, explains that their senses are essentially magnified versions of the magical energy that created them. It's hardly biology; more like enchantment. "The energy is programmed to behave as if it sees, hears, or feels."

A ghost's perceptions are fundamentally similar to those of a live human, yet the illusion is based on sheer magical resonance. Ghosts passively read the energies of the world around them life force, mana currents, emotional echoes without fully comprehending how. Their awareness is instinctive and frequently remarkably accurate.

Some ghosts, especially powerful ones, can detect magical signals, sense intent, and follow movement using lingering emotional traces. These ethereal beings are frequently feared not only for their appearance, but also for their capacity to know without ever having to look.
