The kingdom of Vumid is divided into 5 provinces plus the capital region. it is home to some of the largest cities in the world. and boasts a massive well trained military.
Structure
The bulk of the power is held by the king. there are 5 noble families that hold claim to the throne. this dates back to the inception of the country when the 5 tribes united under 1 banner and repelled their aggressors. every time there is not a proper heir named the other noble families can submit an heir that will then be decided on by a group of ancient sages.
Culture
The people of Vumid have a very diverse culture. the 5 provinces all boast different cultural selling points. the one thing they all have in common is their strong wills.

History
long before the time of man, the elves controlled what is now known as Vumid. their empire fell before our history began. sometime after that, there were 5 major clans that were constantly warring with each other and other foreign aggressors. it is not known what the catalyst of this was, but one day the 5 clans decided to unite under one banner. the united military might be staggering. they managed to secure their borders and conquered land abroad. this caused the Vumidians to gain their reputation for being hearty and tough warriors
Military
Vumid boasts one of the largest militaries in the world. A good chunk of that power comes from naval strength. in years past the Vumidian military was used to strike fear in the hearts of foreign aggressors. in recent decades it has mostly been used for humanitarian causes.
Religion
The belief systems of the denizens of vumid are diverse, however worship in one of the gods of the triad is most common. the church of the triad has always had many followers in vumid, but it was king Bertram Eolwulf who was a devout follower of Torm and as such he had the Temple of the triad built in Llangarth.
Agriculture & Industry
the vumidian countryside is filled with farms to grow produce and livestock for export around the world.
