Humans
The Refugees of Celmani
They had to leave so much behind for a new life, including family and friends.
Fled From Celmani
The vampire and fae empires were at war in Celmani. This caused the region to become a frozen hellscape, since the vampires killed the fae king. The land became mostly uninhabitable. However, humans persevered until they no longer could. While humans were being turned by both races, there was a resistance that planned to escape Celmani to survive. However, before the others fled, many in this organization were turned or killed.
It was an almost failed escape, but once they did, Winter found them by the border of Frosthalla. They assisted the humans through the mountains and had an audience with Knowler. Knowler listened to the humans' story, remembering how Lunarius had been researching their culture. He accepted the humans as his own people, letting them live anywhere in Astnyr.
The Teaching of Alchemy
James Smith began teaching alchemy to anyone who was interested in the craft. He was surprised that the Life Druids wanted to learn the art of potion making. The human thought the druids would be as stubborn in their ways as the fae were, but he excitedly showed them how each ingredient worked. Thankfully, the herbs in Astnyr were the same as in Celmani, though he never had a clue why.
James's family became renowned for their alchemical skills in Astnyr. The currently renowned alchemist was his daughter, Alexa Silverwind. She married the Head Cleric of the Healing Clerics in Craftport. They had two children together. However, Alexa mourned her lost brother, William, who did not escape Celmani. She thought he had been killed.
Ethnicities
There are humans that remain steadfast in Celmani culture, while others adapted or were born into Astnyr culture. They separated themselves between Celmani Humans and Astnyr humans. Celmani Humans didn't wish for their culture to disappear just because they immigrated somewhere else. (Celmani culture will be written here once it is established in Celmani articles).
Meanwhile, the Astnyr humans embraced their new culture. They followed their new angel rulers and practiced their customs. Many became druids and light paladins. Protecting and serving their unfamiliar country was what they felt they needed to do. This was especially after learning the history of Lunarius and Morana, along with the recent conflicts with Strection. Astnyr humans would not let another country fall if they had anything to say about it. Many more became scholars, wishing to learn more about their new world. They gave insight to other scholars about Celmani, sharing information freely. This culture was of sharing and openness with their new neighbors.
There are those that were between both cultures. They called themselves the Moderate Humans.
Physical Traits
Humans had the most variations of all the races, but there were still some limitations. Humans had fair, tan, peach, or brown skin. Their hair could be red, blonde, brown, black, and grey. Their eye colors were limitless and their body fat and muscle depended on what life these humans led.
