Pasos
Pasos is the gleaming jewel of Imenia. It is the political, judicial, and cultural nexus of the republic. Built atop layered terraces that rise from the banks of the Arithus Cliffs, the city radiates grandeur without ostentation. Its domed temples, sprawling civic plazas, and columned courts are monuments not just to power, but to ideals: civic duty, rhetorical excellence, and the pursuit of enlightenment.
Here, philosophers argue in the shadow of Triarchal halls. Messengers hurry through marble porticos bearing writs and verdicts. Statues of statesmen, scholars, and revolutionary thinkers line the thoroughfares, staring down at a city constantly alive with debate and invention. Pasos is not merely the political capital, it is the central mind of Imenia.

Government
Pasos is the permanent seat of the Triarchia, Imenia's three-pronged executive branch, as well as the Eklesia (Assembly) and the Dikasteria (Judiciary).
The city is governed locally by an Archon, appointed by the Triarchia for five-year terms. The Archon oversees citywide law enforcement, infrastructure, and the regulation of trade and public gatherings.
Major Institutions Include:Hall of the Triarchs: Grand marble rotunda where the three Triarchs hold counsel.
The Archidikasterion: The highest court in Imenia houses its complex of the Archikritai. It is known for its echo-dome and acoustics optimized for public discourse.
The Eklesial Amphitheater: A large space open to the public where members of the national assembly debate laws and policies of the Republic.

Industry & Trade
Pasos imports vast quantities of food, raw stone, and lumber, but exports its greatest product: policy and prestige. The city generates revenue through tuition to its academies, diplomatic licenses, and cultural events. Artisans, scribes, parchment-makers, and legal consultants thrive in Pasos.
Districts
The High Forum
Crowned by the Hall of the Triarchs, this terraced district hosts the city's legislative, judicial, and executive buildings. Sweeping marble steps lead up to the Prytaneion, the ceremonial hearth of the republic, where laws are signed and judgments pronounced. The Agora of Pasos
A vibrant plaza of open-air markets, book traders, and political agitators. It is common to hear three simultaneous debates at any given intersection. One on ethics or logic, another on current governance, and a final on the future of the republic. The Scholar's Rise
A district of universities, academies, and private salons. Home to the Concordia Lyceum, the republic’s most prestigious institution for law, logic, and oratory. Rumor has it that informal backroom dealings can happen here for several members of the Eklesia. It is an opportunity for monied interests to grease the palms of democracy. The Cloistered Ridge
A quieter, upper terrace housing the estates of the wealthy, foreign embassies, and retired Archikritai. The Stone Walk
Arcing across the city, these massive walkways are almost small villages in themselves—lined with vendors, inns, and minor temples. The walkways are patrolled day and night by the Republican Guard.
