Hegyar

Demographics
The permanent residency is primarily made up of humans, goliaths, and dwarves (especially Ironhold traders). Wealthy merchant families dominate the upper class, while longshoremen, shipbuilders, and traders fill the middle and lower classes.

History
Founded as a fishing village in 970, the city rose to prominence after the unification in 1024 and Wescovian expansion boosted the need for shipbuilding.
Tourism
Limited tourism; most visitors are sailors and traders. However, the Festival of Lanterns (celebrating the sea gods and safe voyages) sometimes attracts pilgrims.
