Rivenbrook sits on the banks of the shallow but fast-moving River Elden, from which the town draws its name. The river provides clean water, irrigation for the surrounding farms and a natural barrier against wildlife from the nearby woods. Wooden bridges arch across the river, connecting the town´s modest districts.
