Mokazai
A lumber town south of the Koulan Forests in the Northern Territories. For centuries it was under the control of the elven Kiri Clan, but after the The Oda-Kiri War it was annexed by the human nation of Sardivelia in 908. While its timber operations are some of the most profitable in the world, loggers journeying deep into the Forests have reported sighting monsters and strange anomalies coming from the woods.
The town has suffered a decline in population after the Violet Blight of the 930's, with few merchants or loggers willing to risk venturing into the blighted reaches of the Koulan Forests anymore.
