Surefall Glade
Surefall Glade is a grove of trees nestled between two salients on the western edge of Lake Rathetear. It is the starting settlement for the Rathian humans known as Artzakoak. The mountains behind the grove are honeycombed with caves which are home to a large number of bears. The bears--especially their patriarch, Mammoth--are sacred to Artzakoak, and they defend the bears from Antonican poachers.
A waterfall falls down to the glade and then runs down to the lake. Several stone buildings house the Artzako protectors. Druid and Ranger trainers can be found here. An Ancient Oak can be found here. Within the caves there is an ancient elven ruin dating back to the Elddar age. There is also an entrance to the Nightlands within the caves.
Artzakoak are friendly with the blackburrow gnolls. Players who have unlocked the gnoll species can start here as a blackburrow gnoll.
