Nektulos Forest

The Nektulos forest is a beech forest in the highlands north of the Commonlands.   The eastern part of the forest is lighter and is where the Trans-Tharron Highway passes through on its way to Highpass, the western foot of which starts in the cliffs at the eastern end of the forest. The Shralok orc clan have three camps in the area. To the north, the land quickly descends to the Kithicor Valley.   The western forest is denser and darker. Upon entering the following message appears, "The forest is permeated by a feeling of foreboding. Something is wrong here." The north western forest has a quadrolith under which Najena's Laboratory is located. The warped creations of Najena wander the area looking for prey to bring back for their mistress's experiments. To the north, the forest is bounded by the impassible peaks of the southern Lavastorm Mountains. To the south it is bounded by Mt. Erollisi and Befallen. To the west lies only the outer ocean.
