Lavastorm Mountains
The Lavastorm Mountains are a massif of extreme volcanic activity. The entire region is coated in volcanic ash and dotted with pools of molten lava. The region was once home to the gnomish city of Klick'anon, but it has been conquered by lord Nagafen and is now known as Nagafen's Lair. The temple of Solusek Ro is also located in this area within the goblin fortress known as Fire Peak. The region is accessible from the Kithicor Valley to the west and the Frigid Plain to the north.
The toxic fumes from the lava poison PCs who enter the area without sufficient protection from poison.
NPCs
- Fire Drake (6-8)
- Fire Giant (33-36): sometimes wander the zone. No more than two may be up at a time. 10% chance of spawning when Rock Dervish is killed.
- Fire Goblin Guard (14-16): two of these MOBs stand flanking the gate to Fire Peak.
- Fire Goblin Scout (9-11)
- Flame Pixie (6-8): Small fay creatures Fae, Discord, & Elemental:Fire
- Lava Basilisk (16-18): Elemental: Fire, Vulnerable: Water
- Lava Crawler (12-14): Large snakes that are immune to fire
- Lava Wyrm (43): A colossal lava crawler that has a 1% percent change of spawning in place of a Lava Crawler
- Lesser Fire Sprite: Wander the zone.
- Rock Dervish (15-17): Wander the zone. Non-aggressive.
- Sarnak Guard (19-20): Found near entrance to Nagafen's Lair
