He wields a pair of Colt Anacondas that he lovingly refers to as The Sweet Sisters. They never leave his side. His body is also imbued with nanotech, which provides him with even more increased strength and armor.

Personal history
Donovan began his life as a slave, but worked his way into the slave trade as a driver instead. He worked with a band of particularly nasty slave traders until he killed most of them in their sleep and took over. He spent the majority of his adult life ransacking ruins for parts, selling slaves, and developing connections with people in all walks of life alongside his adopted daughter Caroline. Donovan justified his slave trade by selling slaves into homes with lives that were much better and safer than they were when they were on their own. In his head, he was doing them all a service. Newt, once a prize slave, became his lover and convinced him that slavery was the wrong course of action for helping people. For reasons unknown, The Catholic Nation sought to take Donovan out, even going so far as to send assassins to kill him. One of these assassins killed a close friend of Donovan's, which turned his attitude of indifference to one of hatred. Through blind luck and crazy happenstance, Donovan soon found himself in control of a well-stocked military base and used that to begin recruitment towards taking down the Catholics. At one point, he came into contact with a vampire named Jeff Cooper, brother to Doc, and convinced him to sire him. Soon after, Donovan and Newt were married and, miraculously, had a baby girl named Scylla. He has spent his time running The Rebellion ever since.
Mental Trauma
Donovan killed his slave partners in their sleep one night after they gang-raped a young Caroline. Both the rape and the murders have lived with him ever since. Not that he regrets it, of course.
Intellectual Characteristics
Donovan is well-read despite his upbringing. A good percentage of his spending money went towards books, mostly of the history variety.
Morality & Philosophy
A sharp change from his early days, Donovan's moral code now values freedom and equality above all else. He refuses to hold a title after only begrudgingly accepting the role of leader of the Rebellion, as he still has some imposter syndrome built into his system.

Motivation
To free the West from Catholic domination, a threat he deems most dire and ever-present. He wants to provide a safe home for his wife and daughters to live out their lives free of fear. He already has a contingency plan to keep his family safe should shit really go south.
Savvies & Ineptitudes
Donovan is a crackshot with a handgun, and also excels at hand-to-hand combat. He is tragically unable to use computers or much in the way of advanced or alien tech.

Has a particular connection the Madame Bluthe and The Honeypot brothel, although few truly understand exactly what that connection is. He is close friends with Jim Cooper (best known as "Doc), and Mike Fischer.
